This is a powerful vehicle for moving two - to four-year-old Jewish children toward an understanding and love of their Jewish heritage, values and lifestyle. Since many believe that early childhood is the most important time for instilling values, the Preschool might well be the most productive education program Temple Beth David offers.
The school provides growth opportunities for young children in a wide array of areas including music, art, computers, Hebrew, Spanish, Judaic studies and physical education as well as language arts, science, reading and math readiness.
Our Preschool Programs include:
- Mommy and Me
- Gradual Separation
- Two to Four Year Age Level
- Holiday and Festival Celebrations
- Weekly Shabbat Program
- Summer Camp Program
Children are always welcome at regular services; we ask only that they observe a reasonable level of decorum and that parents exercise supervision. At Friday night services in the main sanctuary, children of all ages are invited to the
bimah for
kiddush, and given a candy treat for a “sweet
Shabbat.” A bookcase containing children’s picture books and quiet toys is located at the back of the main sanctuary.
